Dr. Harish Nagaraj
Dr. Harish Nagaraj is a dual-certified Consultant Radiologist and Nuclear Medicine specialist and currently serves as Head of Nuclear Medicine and incharge of Integrated Molecular Imaging Centre (IMIC), Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH), Kenya. He completed his postgraduate training in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiation Medicine at the University of Nairobi, followed by a Fellowship in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT from India, and holds a Master’s degree in Oncologic Imaging from the University of Pisa, Italy.
Dr. Harish is also an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Nairobi, teaching Nuclear Medicine to postgraduate trainees in Radiology and Radiation Oncology. He has played a pivotal role in advancing molecular imaging and theranostics in Kenya, leading the introduction of Ga-68 PET/CT imaging with FAPI, PSMA, and DOTANOC tracers and collaborating with the IAEA to deliver the first Lutetium-177 PSMA therapy in a public institution in East and Sub-Saharan Africa. His interests include precision oncology, prostate cancer, and neuroendocrine tumors.
